Queen returns from break for Irish Open
Clare Queen, the leading Scot at No.43 on the Ladies' European Tour money list, returns after a couple of week's break for the AIB Ladies' Irish Open at the famous Portmarnock Links.
"I missed last week's English Open so I could spend some time working with my coach, Ian Rae," explained Queen. "It's a long season and it's important to pace yourself. The break has done me good - I'm raring to go."
Lynn Kenny, Kathryn Imrie, Jenna Wilson and the Irish-based Scot, Julie Forbes, are also in a field headlined by Norway's world No.3, Suzann Pettersen.
Pettersen, a five-time winner in America last year, won the weather-shortened Swiss Open in May and will be seeking to collect her fifth career European Tour title on Sunday.
England's Rebecca Hudson will be aiming for a third title on the trot. She has won the Tenerife and the English Open back-to-back.
