Scotland’s Janice Moodie made her best start of the year with a fine two under par 69 – but finished all but last of the qualifiers following subsequent rounds of 74, 75 and 76 at the Michelob ULTRA Open at Williamsburg in Virginia.

The Scot finished on five over par and it didn’t help her chances of making Europe’s team for the Solheim cup in August.
