Lynn and Jenna celebrate in Tenerife

Scotland's birthday girls Lynn Kenny and Jenna Wilson aim to celebrate this week with season's high finishes at the Tenerife Ladies' Open at Costa Adeje.

Kenny, who will be 28 during Thursday's first round, is back at the course where she made her Ladies' European Tour debut three years ago, and is in the middle of a season that is promising to be the most productive of her professional career.

Just outside the top 50 on the Order of Merit after a steady few weeks, the Dunblane golfer is hoping for four sub-par rounds that could really kick-start the campaign.

At last week's Portuguese Open she came close to a fourth career top ten - but dropped three shots in the last two holes and slipped outside the top 30. "That's the sort of finish that makes this game so frustrating," she said.

Wilson, who will be 24 on Sunday, has made two cuts from six starts and is still seeking her first top 50 finish. Her main goal is to keep her card this year, but she needs to rise from her current No.118 on the Order of Merit.

Clare Queen, the leading Scot at No.37 on the merit list, and Kathryn Imrie are the other two Scots in the field.
