Scotd heavily involved at British Open Strokeplay
Kylie Walker (Buchanan Castle) and Pamela Pretswell (Bothwell Castle), both members of the Great Britain and Ireland Vagliano Team, head the bid for home success at this week’s British Open Strokeplay Championship a royal Aberdeen.
Kylie, Pamela and Roseanne Niven (Crieff) carry Scotland’s hopes in the team event that runs within the individual championship.
Kelsey MacDonald (Nairn Dunbar), who recently retained the Scottish Open Under-21 Championship over her home home course will be another big threat.
At the end of this month, Kelsey and Rachael Watton (Mortonhall) will be representing Scotland at the Belgian junior International.
