Japan next stop for LPGA Scots

Moodie and Matthew continue far east LPGA Tour with jaunt to Japan
Catriona Matthew and Janice Moodie have played in China and South Korea and are now in Japan for the third week of the LPGA Tour’s Asian swing.
The Mizuno Classic, with home star Momoko Ueda defending the title, is a 54-hole event and Matthew will be aiming to pull out a result that could send her into the top 30 in the LPGA rankings.
Moodie, who has ad a steady if unspectacular year, is just outside the top 50 and very safe to keep her full exempt status for next year.
Next week, the Tour moves to Mexico for Lorena Ochoa’s signature event – and the season ends the following week with the ADT Championship.
