David Drysdale hopes to carry recent form into next month's Open
Scottish golfer David Drysdale insists he will head into next weeks French Open in the form of his career after a fourth-place finish at the BMW International Open.
A strong finish, which included two birdies in the last three holes, saw the 34-year-old grab a share of the fourth place finishing 17-under, five shots behind English winner Nick Dougherty.
And with qualification for the Open already in the bag, Drysdale maintains he can mix it with the world's best at Turnberry on July 16.
He said: "I'm over the moon to finish in a share of fourth and it's superb to also get into the French Open.
"I played nicely with just a couple of loose shots but I putted poorly.
"Two birdies in the last three holes was a nice way to finish and I'm delighted knowing I am playing the French and the Scottish Opens leading into Turnberry.
"I am really loving my golf at the moment and hopefully I can continue this form through to the Open."
