Drysdale and Forsyth book World Cup place

Scots ensure World Cup spot after dramtic late show from Drysdale and Forsyth
David Drysdale and Alastair Forsyth have booked Scotland’s place at November’s World Cup after a stunning final round in qualifying.
After three rounds in Estonia the duo were well adrift of Austria and Portugal but saved their best rounds until last.
Drysdale and Forsyth carded a 66 in the foursomes as Portuguese pair Jose-Filipe Lima and Antonio Sobrinho’s form deserted them.
They made five bogeys in seven holes after the turn and missed out by three shots while the Austrians were also four over on the final day, which ended their hopes.
The World Cup will take place at Mission Hills, where Colin Montgomerie and Marc Warren won the crown two years ago.
