Clare's Evian motivation

Queen chasing £1.5m Evian Masters chance

Clare Queen, Scotland's No.1 on the European circuit, has an added incentive going into this week's BMW Italian Open at Argentario Golf Club in Tuscany.
It offers the last chance to get into the second richest tournament in women's golf - the £1.5M Evian Masters in France next week.
Queen, in her third season on Tour, has never managed to play at Evian, and she would need to win in Italy on Sunday to join Scottish No.1 Catriona Matthew as a second Scot in the elite field.
It is disappointing that Matthew is the lone Scot in the field - neither Janice Moodie nor Mhairi McKay have performed well enough on the LPGA Tour this year to make the grade.
