Clare Queen was in a familiar position as the top Scot at the Finnair Masters in Helsinki that produced as thrilling final day dual between two home players.
Clare shot a last day 74 for four over par and finished joint 27th. Lynn Kenny was the only other Scot to make the cut and she had a disappointing final round 77 for ten over par and 55th place.
In a great day for the home fans, Minea Blomqvist clinched her second Ladies' European Tour title thanks to a superb 65 and an 11 under par total. Fellow Fin Ursula Wickstrom birdied the last to also shoot 65 and was in second place on ten under.
Blomqvist is tipped to become one of the world's best and has enjoyed a good season on the LPGA Tour in America. Her first LET title came as a rookie in the 2004 European Open in Hungary.
