Queen bags top 25 finish in Germany
Scot Clare Queen had a top 25 as Germany's Martina Eberl birdied three of the final four holes in a back nine of 32 and snatched the Nykredit Masters from English rookie Melissa Reid in Denmark.
Queen, in joint fifth place after an opening 69, slipped back with a second round 78, but hit back with a closing 70 for two under par and a tie for 21st place.
Rookie Jenna Wilson raised her hopes of holding on to her card for next year with a final round 71 for even par and a top 30 finish, while Lynn Kenny, the third Scot in the field, had a 77 for four over.
Reid, who finished her second round 66 with two eagles, started the final round with a six shot lead but could only manage a level par 73 and allowed Eberl, with a 66, to claim the title by one shot on 14 under par.
Reid was alone in second on 13 under with Annika Sorenstam, making her final appearance in Europe before she quits at the end of the year, had a 71 and was outright third on nine under.
