Carly Booth bids for professional card at Tour School
Seventeen-year-old Carly Booth will aim to become the youngest ever Scot to qualify for the Ladies’ European Tour when she joins three compatriots in the first stage of qualifying at La Manga in Spain this month.
The teenage Curtis Cup star has entered as an amateur – so is keeping her options for next year.
The other Scots who have entered the pre-qualifying are Kylie Walker, Katy McNicoll and Gemma Webster.
The final stage takes place at La Manga from December 18-21 and two Scots who have entered are Clare Queen and Pamela Feggans. They are both in danger of having to reclaim their cards.
The final LET tournament takes place next week – the Dubai Ladies’ Masters.
