Queen fades away to finish 46th in Dutch Open
Clare Queen, the only Scot to make the cut, shot an up and down final round of 75 and finished in a tie for 46th on one over par at the ABN Amro Ladies' Dutch Open in Eindhoven.
France's Gwladys Nocera, winner of the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Ladies' Open last month, became the first two-time winner on the European Tour this season with a closing 71 for a one shot victory.
The 33-year-old birdied the par four final hole for a 13 under par total and snatched the £30,000 prize from England's talented 20-year-old rookie, Melissa Reid.
Queen, who equalled her career best with a tie for sixth in last month's Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies' Scottish Open, had started the tournament brightly with a 70 but failed to break par over the weekend.
Her final three over par round was a real mixed bag with four birdies being set alongside five bogeys and a double-bogey.
