Craig Levein's stock continues to rise after United sink Celtic
Darren Dods' last-minute header secured an unlikely comeback victory for Dundee United against Celtic at Tannadice.
The Bhoys looked set for the win after Barry Robson?s second-half penalty but substitute Jon Daly levelled terms with eight minutes remaining before Dods completed the turnaround.
The Terrors were unbeaten in five league games and were always going to be a tricky proposition for Celtic who were looking to bounce back to the Premier Division summit with a win.
And the home side proved more than a handful in the early stages with Mihael Kovacevic coming closest to breaking the deadlock when his header smashed against the Celtic bar.
But against the run of play, Celtic took the lead through former Terrors midfielder Robson who picked himself up to convert the spotkick after being brought down by Dods in the 72nd minute.
Daly was immediately brought on to bolster the Dundee attack and after threatening a few times, the Irish striker finally found the equaliser, heading in a Danny Swanson corner.
A frantic last ten minutes ensued where Celtic midfielder Niall McGinn had a goal disallowed for offside before another Swanson corner found Dods in the area who headed past a hapless Lukasz Zaluska in the Celtic goal.
