Scotland gained a creditable 1-1 draw with Finland in their challenge match in Vaasa.

Without the injured Julie Fleeting, Scotland led at half-time through a 35th-minute goal from Kirsty McBride.

But Finland equalised with ten minutes left through an own goal from Jennifer Beattie.

Coach Anna Signeul was pleased with the performance after losing the first match in the double-header 3-0 last Sunday.

Signeul was using the matches as preparation for next month's European Championship qualifier with Slovakia.
