Reynolds and Well ready for Nancy clash in UEFA Cup
Mark Reynolds insists Motherwell are ready for anything Nancy can throw at them in Thursday night's UEFA Cup first-round second leg.
Mark McGhee's men watched a DVD of their French opponents prior to the first leg two weeks ago but defender Reynolds believes the first-hand experience of playing them can help his side overturn a 1-0 deficit.
"Going into the first leg, we'd seen clips of them on DVD and knew their big players and what they were about," Reynolds said in the Scottish Sun.
"But after the first leg we've seen everything for ourselves now. We know who their big players are and the way they're going to play," he added.
"We've got a better idea about them and the manager has got a better idea on how he can set us up against them."
McGhee admitted his tactics were over-cautious in Nancy and has vowed to be more adventurous at Fir Park.
That will almost certainly mean a start for Jamie Murphy, who was a late substitute in France.
But the forward is refusing to get his hopes up, saying: "Until I hear the team, I won't be taking anything for granted and I'll be working hard in training to make sure I'm involved."
Motherwell have Stephen Craigan and Stephen Hughes available again after the pair missed Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League win over St Mirren.
