Tony Mowbray confident of second leg victory in Moscow
Tony Mowbray denied Celtic had a mountain to climb in Russia despite their 1-0 Champions League qualifing first leg defeat to Dinamo Moscow at Parkhead.
Alexander Kokorin scored the only goal of the match to give Dinamo a crucial advantage heading into the second leg and hand Mowbray a defeat in his first competitive game in charge of Celtic.
But the former Hibs and West Brom boss maintains he had seen enough to be convinced his side can overturn the deficit in a week's time.
He said: "I know I will be judged on results but I don't get too high when my team wins and I don't get too low when they lose.
"I am obviously disappointed with the result, but we saw enough evidence to give us encouragement going into the second leg.
"Yet I believe we have the quality to go there, give them problems and score a goal. I think we can go there and get a victory.
"We will see if we can take the chances when they come along next week, which we didn't do tonight."
