Scotland call-up may cap off period of redemption for Jody Morris
Controversial English-born midfielder Jody Morris has left the door open for a potential international call-up to Scotland.
Morris has recently signed a new two-year contract at St Johnstone and insists he is loving life north of the border.
And the 30-year-old who hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons in his spells at London clubs Chelsea and Millwall, believes he has turned a corner at McDiarmid Park.
He said: “I have family up here and my granddad is from Glasgow.
“Playing for Scotland is not something I have thought about before - but I would now.
“I've had a new lease of life since coming to St Johnstone two years ago. I'm happy here and enjoying my football.
“I’m loving the SPL. It's good to be settled now I'm older and have added responsibility.”
