McCulloch not worried ahead of Sevilla

Lee McCulloch insists there is no panic about Rangers goal-shy attack as they head into their biggest week of the season so far against Sevilla and Old Firm rivals Celtic.

For the third league game running the Gers failed to hit the target in their goalless draw with Aberdeen allowing Celtic to open up a four-point lead at the top.

But midfielder McCulloch remains confident that Rangers can still turn it around ahead of the visit of Spanish outfit Sevilla to Ibrox.

He said: “A lot of teams go through these spells and I think we have to just work that bit harder on the training pitch.

“I don't know whether it's about confidence but I think we can put things right.

“It’s maybe a lack of killer instinct in the final third. It’s something that was there last season and we’ve maybe not got it back this season, so we have to work all the harder.

“The Celtic game comes at the right time because it's a game we need to do well in.”
