Ross McCormack worried high price tag may prevent Premier League move
Scotland striker Ross McCormack is eyeing a move to Hull City after an impressive debut season at Cardiff City – but believes the Bluebirds valuation may prove a stumbling block.
The 22-year-old scored 21 goals in 38 league appearances for Cardiff and was named in George Burley’s Scotland squad for their World Cup qualifier against Norway next week.
But McCormack believes Cardiff’s £5m valuation may price him out of a move to the Premier League.
“I would definitely be interested in a move to the Hull and into the Premier League,” said McCormack.
“But £5m might be a bit much for someone who has only had one good season and joined Cardiff for about £100,000.
“It’s every boy’s dream to play in the Premier League so if I get the chance it’d be hard to say no.”
