Craig Levein ' extremely disappointed' by nightclub antics of Goodwillie
Dundee United manager Craig Levein is disappointed with striker David Goodwillie after the Under-21 starlet was involved in an alleged nightclub incident on Saturday night.
The 20-year-old has been charged for an assault on ex-Scotland Under-21 rugby player Craig Reid at a nightclub in Bridge of Allan, after being arrested on Sunday afternoon.
And Levein admits the forward, who has scored three goals already this season, will be fined by the SPL-outfit and will take no part in tonight’s game, despite being named in the squad.
United manager Levein said: “He has broken the club's internal disciplinary code and will be punished accordingly.
“The other stuff with regard to what's happening with the police will take care of itself.
“I'd just add that I'm extremely disappointed in him.
“He will be in the squad for the game against Ross County but he won't play.”
