Motherwell safely into round two of Europa Cup qualifying
Motherwell manager Jim Gannnon insists his team's pride has been restored as they beat Llanelli 3-0 to progress to the Europa League qualifying second round.
The Welsh underdogs threatened to pull off a giant killing when they won the first leg 1-0 in Aidrie but the Well turned the tables at Parc y Scarlets thanks to John Sutton's second-half double along with a strike from Jamie Murphy.
Albanian side KS Flamurtari now lie in wait and Gannon, who only took the hot seat at Fir Park two weeks ago, admitted they will be taking a step into the unknow.
He said: "We've restored professional pride after the defeat last week. I think we needed to up our game and show more courage and quality.
"We got into good positions in wide areas. The lads have been working hard and we saw the benefits of that.
"I don't know much about the Albanian side we face next, we've been focusing on this game. There will be a lack of information for us against them, but we will take a lot out of this game as we improved massively in this second leg."
