New-Bhoy Danny Fox confident Celtic can gun-down Arsenal
Celtic defender Danny Fox believes Arsenal can be knocked off their perch in the first leg of their Champions League third round qualifying clash at Parkhead.
Arsenal began their season in imperious fashion demolishing Fox’s former club Everton 6-1 at Goodison Park on Saturday.
But Fox – who joined from Coventry City for £1.5million in the summer – is convinced they have what it takes to beat last year’s Champions League semi-finalists and knows that Celtic’s 12th man could be the deciding factor.
“I think Arsenal can be got at," said Fox. "We shouldn't give them too much respect and we need to get in their faces and take it from there.
“I also think the fans at Celtic Park will be a massive help for us – I have been blown away by the fans here and the atmosphere tomorrow night should be amazing.
“I'm not sure Arsenal will be over-confident about playing us but all we have to think about our own game and not bother too much about Arsenal.”
