Fortune focused on Champions League qualifiers

Celtic new-boy Marc-Antoine Fortune admits he has been blown away by the club and is determined to repay the Glasgow giants by firing them into the group stages of the Champions League.

The 28-year-old striker completed his £3.8m move from Nancy earlier in July but has spent most his time so far in Australia, where the Parkhead outfit went on a pre-season tour.

But despite his warm-weather start Fortune is already chomping at the bit to get to less sunnier climes when they take on Dinamo Moscow in the Champions League third qualifying round.

He said: "Everything at Celtic has been much more than I was expecting.

"I had heard about Celtic but now I've seen the fans it's amazing the way they care about the players.

"The facilities are also very impressive although I have not yet seen much of Glasgow.

"But the most important thing is the Champions League qualifier and we are all ready and impatient to play against Moscow.

"Celtic is a big club and we need to make this competition."
