Ifeoma Dieke makes her competitive debut for Chicago Red Stars this weekend in the US women's professional league.

The Glasgow-born defender plays at St Louis Athletica as the new franchise opens its account.

The team warmed up with a crushing 8-0 win over the University of Illinois earlier this week.

It is Dieke's second attempt at making it professionally in the US after she played for Atlanta Beat in the previouis US pro league which folded five years ago.

Dieke's American commitments mean she is unavailable for Scotland's match against Italy next week.
