George Burley brands Scotland performance 'ridiculous' and 'shocking'
Defiant Scotland manager George Burley admitted there were no excuses following a 3-0 friendly defeat against Wales in Cardiff.
Burley said he could not explain the manner of the loss against an under-strength Welsh team.
And he insisted there were no positives to learn.
"1'm not surprised our fans booed us - we were very poor," he said.
"It's ridiculous the way we've conceded the three goals through bad defending - it was shocking.
"You're looking when you play games to get some positives, but there were none.
"I spoke to the players and I can't explain it. I'm looking for them as a team to work hard and stick together.
"I felt they were going in the right direction after the last few games, but we've certainly got to look at it again.
"There were a lot of disappointing displays. As a team, we were too easy to beat."
Asked about his future as Scotland boss, Burley added: "It's too early to assess it.
"It's still my job and we're looking to keep pushing on."
