Barr wants European dream to continue

Falkirk captain Darren Barr admitted his young side will be taking a step into the unknown when they travel to Liechtenstein for tomorrow's Europa League second round clash against FC Vaduz.

The Bairns hold the narrowest of advantages courtesy of their 1-0 first leg victory and will be playing their first ever competitive match on European soil.

And Barr, who has been linked with a move to Hibernian, insists he is determined to keep their Europa dream going.

He said: "We want to play as many games in Europe as we can, for the club and for our own experience as players.

"It's great to see your name in the hat for the next round, but we've still got a big job to do in this game first.

"We've got quite a young team, with a few new players, but I think things are coming together.

"Not many of us have experienced European football before and it is Falkirk's first time in Europe so we don't want it to end."
