Murdoch leads Scotland into fourth world final in five years
Scotland have reached the World Men's Curling Championship final for the fourth time in five years after beating title holders and hosts Canada for the second time in two days.
David Murdoch's rink, the 2006 champions, had clinched their place in the first versus second play-off with a 6-5 win over the Canadians in the final game of the round-robin in Moncton.
They followed that up with a 7-5 victory, meaning Canada must now beat the winners of the Switzerland versus Norway play-off to set up a repeat of last year's final.
"I think it's getting pretty exciting," said Murdoch, who has won back-to-back European Championships.
"We made a lot of good shots. To be able to play to that kind of standard, that's what we've tried to do.
"This team is tough. It's been in the process for a number of years now."
