With Sunday's match against Ferguslie rained off, the Scotland U-19 squad must now wait until next Sunday and their match against Premier Division champions Greenock to try and eke out their first win in the top flight of the Scottish National Cricket League.
Certainly, the youngsters are determined to make amends for their capitulation to Poloc in their debut match two weeks ago.
Reflecting on the Poloc match, Willie Rowan, Scotland's U-19 opening bowler commented:

Noting that the Scotland U-19's squad will play Greenock in their next match, the club captained by their coach, Craig Wright, the plucky teenager made clear that he won't be over awed by the opposition.
"We will just concentrate on doing the basics right and then we'll do well." Can the Scotland U-19's win that match? "Absolutely," replied Rowan.
