

Heavy rain helps Scotland to first Friends Provident Trophy win of the season
Opener Fraser Watts bludgeoned Scotland to their first Friends Provident Trophy win of the season as Kent were left to rue the weather at the Grange.
Torrential rain saw Scotland set a revised total of just 77 with Watts guiding the Saltires to an easy nine wicket Duckworth-Lewis victory after smashing 45 from 38 balls.
Kent will have every right to feel hard done by when after being put in by Scottish skipper, Gavin Hamilton, adverse weather conditions saw their innings last just 19.5overs.
Former England keeper Geraint Jones lead the way with 18 as Kent battled to 65 only for the heavens to open and harshly end their charge.
After a long rain delay Scotland were sent out and needing just 77 off 18.5 overs Watts set about wrapping up the match as quickly as possible.
It took the Saltires just 14.5 overs to ease home with medium pacer Simon Cook feeling the brunt of Watts? willow as Hamilton toasted his first victory as Scottish captain.
