Cricketers set for busy summer
With the 2008 European Football Championships filling our TV screens almost every day in June you may think it's the only sport with a packed competitive calendar.

However, Scotland's cricketers are also in the midst of playing out a hectic domestic and international fixture list.

This week (Mon-Wed) the Scotland A (Lions) team are in action, playing Durham in an English County 2nd XI Championship match at Norton-on-Tees.

And next week (1st-3rd July) Scotland's senior players will face a mighty test when Aberdeen hosts the world's most northerly One Day International Tri-Series fixtures against Ireland and Daniel Vettori's world class New Zealand XI.

It's the kind of fixture – and Scotland's v's England fixture in August - that Scotland's rising stars of the sport aspire to play in.

But after their two day match against Yorkshire this week and watching the Kiwi's in action, the Scotland U-19 player's will focus on hoping to record their third Premier Division win of the season when they play Watsonian's at Myreside on 13th July.
