Cameron Borgas to make Scotland debut in Friends Provident Trophy match
Former Australia Under-19 batsmen Cameron Borgas will make his Scotland debut when the Saltires travel to Lord's for their first Friends Provident Trophy match against Middlesex on Sunday.
The 25-year-old flies in this week from Aussie State side South Australia and is eligible to play in all eight of Scotland's Friends Provident matches throughout April and May.
Borgas will also play for Scottish Premier League outfit Greenock and will be hoping to rediscover his form after falling out of favour at the Adelaide Oval.
Meanwhile seamer Gordon Goudie will not feature at Lord's after failing to shrug off a shoulder injury that ruled him out of most of Scotland?s World Cup Qualifying campaign.
The Saltires picked up one win out of eight in last year's Friends Provident Trophy beating Lancashire by two runs at Old Trafford.
Ryan Watson's troops travel to Edgbaston to face Warwickshire after the clash against Middlesex but could be without all-rounder Craig Wright and South African-born opening bowler Dewald Nel through injury.
