Seamer Calum MacLeod has been announced as the late replacement for John Blain following his shock departure from the Scottish World Twenty20 squad.
Scotland approached the tournament?s event technical committee after Blain walked out with the ICC citing exceptional circumstances as the reason to accept MacLeod's inclusion.
The 20-year-old is yet to make his international Twenty20 debut but could be drafted in when Scotland open their campaign against New Zealand at the Oval on Saturday.
MacLeod has just four one-day international appearances to his name but will be hoping his youth can help Scotland pick up their first ever World Twenty20 win.
