In addition, 15 year-old Jonathan Stocking from Kilwinning is continuing to make an impact on the British indoor climbing scene after retaining his Junior (12-15 year old category) crown at the British Lead Climbing Championships in Blackpool last weekend.
Not short of self-belief, earlier this year the rising star and former winner of the MCofS Youth Climbing Series, confirmed he can't wait to turn 16 next February to have the chance to beat climbers in the Senior category!
Stocking led an almost all Scottish sweep of his category at the championships, with 16 year-old Ross Kirkland finishing 3rd and fellow Edinburgh based climbers Paul Williamson and Jonathan Field placing 4th and 5th respectively.
