Walsh takes a break

Weary Walsh to take sabbatical from canoeing
Campbell Walsh is taking his longest break from the sport since winning Olympic silver in Athens four years ago.
Walsh will take an extended rest after the disappointment of missing out on a medal in Beijing.
He feels he needs a rest from his intensive trainig programme if he is to keep motivated for London 2012.
"I'm going to have quite a major break from training," he stated.
"Having trained non-stop since a teenager (only stopping for illness, injury, or one week off at the end of each season), I feel the break is not only deserved, but necessary, if I am to continue to stay fully motivated for four years up to London."
