Walsh starts New Year in Oz
Campbell Walsh, who had a disappointing Olympics in Beijing, has flown out to Australia to spend a month at a training camp.

Walsh - a silver medallist in Athens - will use the facilities in Penrith which housed the Sydney Olympic competition in 2000.

He resumed full training at the start of last month and spent five days at a training camp in Grandtully as he seeks to get back to full fitness.

"I got fully back into the swing of things in the boat again on December 1," he said.

"With the white-water channel at Nottingham closed for the winter to make a new course, training has mostly involved flat-water, weights and cross-training.

"That's been just fine, as I need to work on getting back to my previous fitness levels."
