

Walsh in contention for medals in Krakow
Scotland's Campbell Walsh is looking like a strong contender for a medal at the European Canoe Slalom Championships in Krakow, Poland after qualifying in second place for the final of the men's K1.
The Olympic silver medalist was just two seconds behind Frenchman Sebastien Combot but picked up two penalties on his second run.
David Florence produced a good performance qualifying in third place for the finals of the men's C1.
Florence, who will also represent Great Britain at this summer's Olympic Games in Beijing was 4.2 seconds off the pace of early leader Michal Martikan of Slovakia but picked up four penalties on his second run.
Tim Baillie and Etienne Stoot remain in contention to book a place in Beijing after finishing fifth in qualifying for the men's C2.
Meanwhile Fiona Pennie also qualifed comfortably for the final of the women's K1 taking ninth place in the heats in a time of 211.24, 4.75 seconds off leader Jasmin Schornberg of Germany.
