Olympic silver medallist Campbell Walsh competes in this weekend's Slovak Open in Bratislava.

Walsh has just returned from an intensive 11-day training camp in Seu D'Uurgell in Spain.

"I really enjoyed the camp," he said, "With only five weeks to the Worlds, it was very focused with vital familiarisation and specific technical aims to be met.

"I felt I was paddling consistently well. The only down-side to the camp was the extremely low water level which, as well as being incredibly frustrating at times, meant everyone's kit took a bad beating!
