Scotland's Olympic silver medallists Campbell Walsh and David Florence both secured their places in the GB team for the forthcoming European Championships in Nottingham.

Walsh finished second in his first kayak race to Huw Swetnam but won his second and third races.

The win in the second race booked his place in the GB team ahead of his final race.

"With no pressure, I was hoping to produce a flyer on the afternoon run but I was disappointing to have a few small time losses to go 3 seconds slower," he stated.

"However, this proved good enough to still win race three, and happily secure the overall win."

Florence qualified in both the C1 and C2 events.
