Rocks' coach Davis still finding Worthing defeat hard to take
Glasgow boss Sterling Davis admitted the Rocks narrow defeat last time out against Worthing was a bitter pill to swallow but is adamant there will be no hangover when they face Worcester.
The Rocks held a 91-90 lead over the Thunder with eight seconds to go only to lose after Reggie Bratton sunk an unlikely three-pointer from distance.
Glasgow travel to Worcester having spent the past week pondering their misfortune against Worthing and Davis has called for an immediate response.
“It was sore to take because we were so close to coming away with a victory,” said Davis. “Bratton’s shot could have easily appeared in any basketball film you care to mention.
“Yes we had led for most of the game but regardless of who we are playing, I never feel confident that we've done enough to win until the final buzzer.
"We had racked up a good lead by the end of the third quarter but I've been playing basketball for too long to know that anything can happen and it did and we have to learn from it.”
