Rocks stunned after centre Packevicius returns home

Rocks shocked by loss of Lithuanian centre Paulius Packevicius
Lithuanian Paulius Packevicius’ Glasgow Rocks career could be over before it has even started after he was forced to return home for family reasons.
The 6ft 9in centre joined the Rocks last month and looked a dead certainty to start in the season opener against Newcastle Eagles on September 27.
That will no longer happen with Packevicius returning to his native Lithuania however player-coach Sterling Davis does hope to find a suitable replacement.
He said: “Paulius has had to stay in Lithuania for now to deal with some family issues so we're not sure when he'll be joining us. But it's just important for us to get out on the floor.”
