Glasgow fall to BBL Cup first round defeat

Glasgow Rocks suffer first round defeat in BBL Cup
Glasgow Rocks saw their hopes of BBL Cup run scuppered at the first hurdle following a 78-73 defeat to Cheshire Jets at Kelvin Hall.
Mike Copeland top scored with 21 points but despite leading briefly in the third quarter were well off the pace in the first round clash against the Jets.
Skipper Rob Yanders also chipped in with a 19-point haul but it wasn’t enough – and Rocks coach Davis has warned his side to improve or else.
“I was really disappointed with our performance – I just don't feel like we are playing together at the moment,” said Davis.
“I don't feel like we're mentally there and we have to wake up otherwise it's going to be a long season.”
