Former Scottish Champion Gordon Thomson continues his comeback from injury by trying to qualify for the Czech International in Prague.
The Glasgow player, who suffered a bad ankle injury at the end of last season, opens the campaign against Austria's Philip Katsaros and has to win three matches to make the main draw of 32.
Kieran Merrilees is the second Scot in the qualifying and he has an opening match against Israel's Alex Bass.
Meanwhile Glasgow's far-travelled Alistair Casey will be the first Scot to compete in the forthcoming Mongolia International.
Casey is based in New Zealand and has played in places such as Ecuador, Cuba, Fija, Samoa and Iran over the past year. Last October, he claimed his first world-ranking title in omen's singles at the Samoan Open.
This summer, he has had reached the last 16 of the US Open Grand Prix in Los Angeles, and the Australian Open in Melbourne. Casey is now the top ranked Scot in the men's singles at world No.159.
