
Scots win three play-offs

Late wins add sheen to disappointing finish in Junior Champinships
Following a disappointing group stage, Scotland beat the Czech Republic, Estonia and Sri Lanka in the playoffs to finish 17th out of the 21 teams at the World Junior Championships in Pune, India.
The Scottish team was Martin Campbell, Angus Gilmour, Craig Pollock, Paul Van Rietvelde, Kirsty McGlynn and Gillian Sloan.
The next event for the youngsters will be next month’s Bank of Scotland Scottish International Championships at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow. The finals take place on Sunday, November 23.
