Scottish double act's reach quarter-finale stage of Dutch Junior Open
Three Scottish doubles partnerships are through to last 16 at the Dutch Junior Open in Haarlem.
In the men’s event, No.2 seeds Martin Campbell and Angus Gilmour advanced 21-6 21-12 in a second round tie against Poland’s Tomasr Persona and Przemyshaw Urban.
Craig Pollock and Paul van Rietvelde, the No.5/8 seeds, went through 21-13 21-14 against Germany’s Maximillan Bobeth and Patrick Kaermniltz.
Van Rietvelde and Gillian Sloan, the No.2 seeds, had a tough match in the mixed doubles, but eventually claimed victory 21-19 21-23 21-16.
Campbell, a No.5 seed, is already through to the last 32 in the singles.
