Imogen Bankier and Robert Blair have only been playing together for 14 months, but they have underlined their huge potential by climbing to another new high of No.12 in the world in mixed doubles.
The ranking is even more remarkable considering both players have been sidelined due to illness and injury over the 12 months.
Highlights for Glasgow's Bankier and Edinburgh-born Blair - he represents England - include a victory in the Bank of Scotland Scottish Centenary International Championships at the Kelvin Hall, and a quarter-final place the All-England Open.
Next month, Imogen will be heading to Beijing as a member of the new Olympic Ambition 2012 Programme.
