

Scotland's Josh Neil captures under-15 Quadrangular title
Prestwick's Josh Neil captured gold at the under-15 Quadrangular Tournament in Dublin over the weekend.
The 13-year-old finished second at the Olve Junior Tournament in Belgium earlier this month, but went one better to top the podium.
Neil overcame Ireland's joint third seed Jonathan Dolan 23-21 22-20 in an extremely tense final, having defeated team-mate Stewart Ferns of Culbokie in the semis 18-21 21-16 21-16.
In the girls' singles, Haddlington's Megan Richardson reached the last four before she met her match in the form of top seed Chloe Birch, who proved victorious 21-10 21-14.
But England's Birch crashed to Wales' Jordan Hart in the final 23-21 21-15.
In the mixed doubles, Ferns and Troon's Caitlin Gilmour reached the semi-finals before losing to eventual winners Ciaran Chambers and Ruth Roddis.
Ferns and Gilmour had knocked out top seeds Sam Parsons and Birch 17-21 21-16 21-15 in the second round.
In the boys' doubles Neil and Ben Torrance went out in the second round while in the girls' doubles both Hannah Laing and Megan Richardson and Heather Campbell and Rebecca Findlay had more joy.
Both reached the semi finals before defeats to Chloe Birch and Victoria Williams and Caroline Black and Ruth Roddis respectively ended their progress.
In the team event, Scotland, who finished a close second to England last year, started with a with a 7-2 win over Wales, but 3-6 defeats against hosts Ireland and England ensured they ended up third.
