Scotland's Alistair Casey came through his first match in qualification at this week's $250,000 YONEX-SUNRISE Hong Kong Super Series only to be rewarded with promotion to the main draw, where he faces the ultimate challenge, Lin Dan, the reigning Olympic champion from China and last week's China Super Series winner.

This will be Alistair's 2nd test in under seven days against a Beijing medallist, going down last week to Bronze Medalist Chen Jin, also from China.

Casey, who made the semi finals of this month’s $50,000 KLRC New Zealand Grand Prix and won October's $5000 Mongolia International, will play against Lin Dan at 1910 on Wednesday evening GMT +8.
