Casey’s tough draw in China

Alistair Casey, Scotland’s top ranked men’s singles player at No. 82, was the only Scot competing in the Li Ning China Masters Tournament, but he failed to get past the first round.

The Glasgow globetrotter drew the No.3 seed, Peter Gade, and went out 8-21 8-21 to the Danish veteran.

Meanwhile, Scotland’s top woman singles player, Susan Egelstaff will be on of the favourites for the forthcoming Bulgarian International. She is currently the third ranked player in the list of entries.
