Scotland’s Imogen Bankier and England’s Robert Blair suffered a disappointing second round defeat in the Yonex Sunrise Super Series Hong Kong Open.

Seeded No.8, Bankier an Blair lost 10-21 16-21 to the Chinese pair of Bo Zheng and Jin Ma, who seem to have cast a jinx over the British couple who are currently at a career high of No.9 in the world.

Zheng and Ma, who were unseeded, also beat Bankier and Blair in the quarter-finals of last week’s China Open.
