Mordi and Nisbet shine for Scotland in BUSA Championships

Two of Scotland’s most promising athletic talents – Nony Mordi and Jayne Nisbet - were in action at the British Universities Sports Association (BUSA) Outdoor Championships in Bedford at the weekend.
Mordi (Edinburgh University) grasped the gold medal in the triple jump, leaping to a championship’s best of 13.62. Mordi also broke the Scottish triple jumping record with a legal wind jump of 13.47.
Nisbet (Stirling University) jumped an outdoor personal best of 1.80m in the high jump final to take gold. She continued her fine form into the sand with a 3rd place jump of 12.82m in the triple jump claiming her second medal of the weekend.
